MODLING, AUSTRIA - Last year at this time, Sherraine MacKay, of Brooks, Alta., climbed the podium to claim the Modling World Cup gold medal in Austria. Today she found herself on the losing end of a 14-13 overtime match against Renata Fodor of Hungary, finishing 17th.

Sydney (Australia) - Sherraine MacKay, originally from Brooks AB and currently living and training in Paris, won the Women's Epee event at the Challenge Australia World Cup in Sydney this past weekend. Beating out a field of 132 fencers, Sherraine was able to take the gold from Imke Duplitzer of Germany. This was Sherraine's fifth career World Cup victory.  >>more

Josh was seeded 3rd after the pools with a perfect 5-0 record and +21 indicators.  On his way to victory Josh defeated Hwa-Seng Choi of Korea 15-9, Steven Gerberman of the United States 15-14, Benjamin Weinkauf of Germany 15-14, Andrea Cassara of Italy 15-7, and Yury Molchan of Russia 15-6.  Congratulations Josh!
