Abuse and harassment in sport

Talk about it!

Unfortunately, psychological and sexual harassment as well as abuse of all sorts do occasionally happen in sport.

When it occurs, it has been proven that talking about it with someone you trust is one of the best things to do.

If you are a witness or a victim of abuse or harassment, tell someone you trust about it. If this is easier, you can also contact a confidential help line such as:

[KidsHelp]

The Canadian Fencing Federation also offers all its members who feel they are a victim of abuse or harassment a free and confidential first consultation with one of the psychologists of the Warren Sheppell group.

Their reference service is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, both in French and in English.
